Schools and Colleges
Here at the University of Central Lancashire, we’re committed to supporting pupils of schools, colleges, sixth forms and other further education institutions progress into studying in Higher Education. The Lancashire Arts Festival provides a perfect opportunity for students interested in a career in the creative industries, to immerse themselves in wide range of exhibitions, live performances and fashion shows and indulge their chosen passion.
You can also find out more about how UCLan can help you and support your students on the journey into Higher Education. Discover our other great range of events hosted throughout the year – many of which are free to attend.
Guided by our student ambassadors, the school and college group visited a mixture of the Degree Show exhibitions in Victoria, Hanover, Harris and Edward Buildings.
Some also attended special performances in Theatre, Dance and Music, along with interactive workshops in TV Production and Music Production. On the Thursday, most of the groups saw the Fashion Show choreography rehearsal, which was very well received.
During the school and college visits in 2017 we welcomed 382 pupils and 57 influencers.
