Architectural Studies at the University of Central Lancashire are based within The Grenfell-Baines Institute of Architecture and benefit from excellent facilities.

Wayne Croasdell – BSc Architectural Technology

The Institute’s architecture courses are designed to provide students with the opportunity for both academic excellence and practical experience. This approach, coupled with strong links with the city and with architects in the region, produces graduates who are highly regarded in the workplace.

The architecture exhibitions are set in our architectural studios and showcase both the technical and creative sides of architecture that the students have been working on using the University of Central Lancashire’s state-of-the-art facilities including a purpose-built workshop, printing rooms, CAD labs and 3D printing facilities. Expect to see life-sized models, detailed drawings and digital media within our Edward and Harris Buildings during the degree shows as you walk around to view the designs of final year students.
